About Forkpad
Forkpad is the eCash launchpad. It lets anyone create and trade tokens using ECX as the base asset.
Our first version runs on Solana using wrapped ECX (wECX). Our long-term goal is to bring Forkpad into the native eCash ecosystem.
Create a token
Choose your token's name, ticker, image, description, supply, and fee distribution mode.
The default supply is 21,000,000 tokens, but creators can choose a different supply during setup. The selected supply is fixed at launch, with no additional minting allowed.
Supply, fee mode, payout address, and bonding-curve parameters cannot be changed after launch.
Trade with SOL, USDC, or wECX
Every launch is priced in wECX. You can trade directly with wECX or use SOL and USDC through the platform's integrated swap route.
When paying with SOL, the route converts SOL into wECX through available liquidity before buying the project token. Selling follows the reverse route.
The steps execute in one transaction. If the route cannot complete within your slippage settings, the trade reverts. Network fees may still apply.
From launch to DEX trading
Tokens begin trading on a bonding curve. Net buying moves the price upward, while selling moves it downward.
Once a launch reaches its graduation threshold, the reserved project tokens and allocated wECX fund a TOKEN/wECX liquidity pool, where trading continues.
Each launch's supply allocation and graduation progress are displayed on its token page.
Choose who earns the fees
Every launch has one of two fee modes:
- Creator
85% of collected protocol trading fees goes to the creator's designated payout wallet.
- Holders
85% goes to eligible holders, weighted by their balances and how long they hold during each reward period.
Creator payouts and holder rewards are denominated in wECX. In Holders mode, rewards are calculated over distribution periods and claimed separately. Buying immediately before a payout does not qualify a wallet for the entire period.
15% for KPAD buybacks and burns
The remaining 15% of collected protocol trading fees from launched tokens is allocated to buying back and burning KPAD, the Forkpad token.
Repurchased tokens are permanently removed from circulation through burning. This allocation comes from collected fees, not from the supply of newly launched tokens.
Buyback and burn transactions will be publicly trackable. Until the platform token is available, allocated funds will remain reserved for this purpose.
Network fees and third-party swap or DEX charges are separate. After graduation, the 85/15 split applies to the pool-fee revenue received by Forkpad after any DEX protocol deductions.
KPAD and native eCash
KPAD, the Forkpad token, has a separate role in funding our next stage.
Trading-fee revenue received by Forkpad from KPAD will fund development and infrastructure for the move to native eCash. The goal is to accelerate the transition while completing the integrations and testing it requires.
The native launchpad is a planned next phase. Migration timing, supported assets, and any steps required from holders will be announced separately. Existing Solana tokens will not automatically become native eCash tokens.
Snapshots and airdrops
Snapshot dates, eligibility rules, allocations, supported networks, and claim instructions will be announced through our official X (Twitter) account.
We also plan an airdrop for the platform's most active users. The activity criteria and rewards will be published separately. Using the platform does not guarantee an allocation before those rules are announced.
Follow our official X account for confirmed snapshot information, migration updates, and airdrop announcements.
Verify the asset
The Solana version uses this wECX mint:
6ombVv3YMs9qpx1QkycD9XW8HKSfv7vGrCFX3cxCYMVY
wECX, KPAD and individual project tokens are separate assets. Always verify the mint address before trading.
The lifecycle
- Launch
The creator sets a name, ticker, image and fee mode. Meteora's Dynamic Bonding Curve program mints the full supply (21,000,000 by default) into the curve in one transaction, with no mint authority and immutable metadata. There is no team allocation and nothing hidden.
- Bonding curve
Buys deposit wECX and receive tokens; sells return tokens and receive wECX from the same reserve. The price rises with net buying and falls with selling. Curves run on Meteora's audited program, so trading terminals that index Meteora see them from the first trade.
- Graduation
When the curve has raised 400 wECX (80% of supply sold), curve trading stops. The Forkpad keeper then moves the raised wECX and the reserved 20% of supply into a Meteora DAMM v2 TOKEN/wECX pool at the curve's final price, usually within a few minutes. Meteora takes a 0.2% migration fee.
- DEX trading
All pool liquidity is permanently locked: 85% in a position owned by the creator (or, in Holders mode, the rewards wallet) and 15% in one owned by the Forkpad fund. Nobody, including Forkpad, can withdraw it. Only the fees those positions earn can be claimed.
Paying with SOL or USDC
You can buy with SOL or USDC. The app builds one transaction that swaps into real wECX through Jupiter (via the wECX/USDC Orca pool), then spends the swap's guaranteed minimum on the curve. If the swap delivers more than that minimum, the extra stays in your wallet as wECX (usually a fraction of a percent). Selling to SOL or USDC pays out exactly the wECX the swap needs, so nothing is left over.
If any step can't execute within your slippage limit, the whole transaction fails and you keep what you started with, minus the network fee.
Fees
| Curve trading fee | 1% of each buy and sell, charged in wECX |
| Meteora | 20% of each curve fee (protocol share) |
| Creator mode | 85% of the rest to the creator's payout wallet, claimed in wECX |
| Holders mode | 85% of the rest to holders, weighted by balance × time held |
| Forkpad fund | 15% of the rest: buybacks and burns of KPAD |
| After graduation | 1% DAMM v2 pool fee, earned by the locked LP positions (85% creator or holders, 15% fund) after Meteora's share |
| Not ours | Network fees and third-party DEX fees on SOL/USDC routes are separate and shown before you sign |
Curve and pool trades made through other apps and terminals pay the same fees, so they reach creators and holders too.
Holder rewards
In holders mode, the 85% share goes to a Forkpad rewards wallet, which pays it out once a day. Every few minutes the keeper records each holder's balance from public chain data; a holder earns for the time between two records only on the balance they held at both. Buying just before a payout earns almost nothing. Curve and pool vaults and Forkpad wallets are excluded.
Rewards are sent in wECX straight to holders' wallets, so there is nothing to claim. The full ledger (fees collected, each period and every payout with its transaction) is public on each token page. Very small amounts carry over until they are worth sending.
Questions
Can the creator change the fee mode or payout wallet later?
No. Mode, payout address, supply and curve parameters are fixed when the token is created.
Can anyone mint more tokens?
No. Meteora creates the token without a mint authority, so the supply is final.
Who can withdraw the pool liquidity?
Nobody. Both positions are permanently locked in Meteora DAMM v2. Only the fees they earn can be claimed.
Who runs graduation and fee collection?
The Forkpad keeper, every few minutes. Graduation is permissionless on Meteora, so anyone else can run it too.
Is KPAD live?
Not yet. The 15% fund share stays reserved and unspent until that token exists.
Risks
- wECX is a wrapped asset issued by a third party.
Its mint authority is controlled by the bridge operator. Redemption into native ECX, and at what ratio, is not guaranteed by Forkpad. wECX mint:
6ombVv3YMs9qpx1QkycD9XW8HKSfv7vGrCFX3cxCYMVY - Prices move with wECX.
Every token is priced in wECX, so its USD value changes when wECX's does, even if nobody trades the token.
- Anyone can launch.
Names and images aren't unique or verified. Check the token address before trading.
- Smart contracts can have bugs.
Curves and pools run on Meteora's audited programs. The keeper and rewards wallet are operated by Forkpad.
